Ultrasound of shoulder

An ultrasound scan is a modality of choice in assessing the tendons around the Shoulder joint.

Due to its high resolution and dynamic real time capabilities it is superior to MRI scan in rotator cuff problems. It is used to help in the diagnosis of common disorders including impingement syndrome, rotator cuff tendon tears and calcific tendonitis.
It is also the best method to guide steroid injections precisely in the desired place, at the same time if required.

We use high spec up to date machine to diagnose shoulder problems and guide needle treatments.
